I am unable to turn up the brightness on my Fitbit Versa. It is that low I can't see the clock to swipe up and navigate. Only had it since last week and its been stuck like this for a few days, how annoying! Can anyone recommend anything? I've got it linked to my phone and I can't seem to work out a way to get the screen to show. Tried in diff kinds of light too.

Try going to settings and turning off sleep mode. I had this problem a few weeks ago and this was the fix.

wrong setting
swipe down from your main watch screen.
click the slider switch icon top right corner.
click the crescent moon/sleep mode toggle.

No Max on my Charge 3. I can barely see it inside. Can't see anything outside. My husband's Charge 3 is brighter than mine. Too late for me to return it. Only settings are Normal and Dim. I hate this and will probably go back to a real watch I can see. Why can't they fix this issue in an update?

I gave a different model, but I'd guess there are two different ways to dim fitbit watches.
1. In the settings/dimmer and/or,
2. There are quick settings to toggle sleep mode off and on. On mine there is also a dimmer quick setting.
I suggest searching for "Charge 3 quick settings sleep mode" to learn more.
Sorry couldn't help.
Namaste 🙏
On my model I

Turn off sleep mode in "quick settings".
This is not in the regular settings.
It's in your "quicksettings".

When go into setting on the watch (Versa 2) the following setting are grayed out and I can't do anything with them:
I've already turned it off and back on and it is still like this.
Additionally although it is paired with my phone (and notification setting have been set-up and confirmed) I am not getting any text or phone call notifications. This is the 2nd day I've had the watch. It was working yesterday. Can anyone explain why those setting would be grayed out?

The brightness " button" is dimmer than the others below it, so it won't let you select it. I can also see that it the brightness is on dim.

Turn sleep mode off in settings. It worked!

Same issue, it was not the sleep setting and restarting did not help. All updates have been done. I'm attempting a factory reset and the app on the phone finds the device but got stuck at "connecting with device". I've tried times without success to get the device to connect with the app. At this point I'm not sure what else to try. I really hope this isn't a case of planned obsolescence. The Versa 3 did just get released...

Mine is stuck in sleep mode and can't adjust brightness, tried rebooting and nothing works.
How do you fix it?
