I first noticed yesterday that the back button wouldn't work and so I have tried several things to restart my Versa and even disconnected it from my phone and restarted both several times. Not the back button may work 10% of the time but my watch will freak out and bounce back and forth from my watch face to the setting options (screen wake/notifications) and I can get out of that screen until it decides to on it's own and then it bounces back and forth between the two 😕

Hi,
My back button has stopped working. I have cleaned it with a toothpick as per recommendation, I have remove the device using my Fitbit app on my phone, I have gone into settings on my Fitbit and turned it off and now it will not turn back on as the button doesn’t work. I do not allow it to get wet, I remove it every time around water. The button just does not seem to click when I press it. Can someone help me out.

I received my versa2 as a birthday gift back in October 2019. I've been wearing it for the past 6 months and I just noticed the side button not working yesterday. Tapping the screen also seemed to stop working and now it's stuck on "Set up Wallet." I charged it completely to 100% and am unable to reset the watch. What are my options?

Same here. It has never been wet. Unfortunately mine is about 17 months old. 25% off isn’t going to do it for me. I’ll check into another brand. Another problem that had happened twice in the past few months is that the screen goes black and the buttons don’t work. After 15 or so minutes it comes back. The stick button problem seemed to start after the last update which is strange because it feels like a mechanical problem. Did all the recommended steps but happened again yesterday. Original charger too. I’m 70 years old and am very careful with it. At least it’s a bit of a comfort knowing I’m not alone in this and it’s not something I did wrong. Good luck!

I didn’t see the info about the shortcut button. However mine fixed itself in a few minutes. I don’t have the faith in it that I used to.

I have put my versa in salt water and went swimming, putting on the swimming exercise. I came home and the left button wasn’t working. I’ve tried all the other advice but it doesn’t work. It is strange because I have gone swimming in pools or dipped my watch in the ocean but it has never done this! I was wondering if there was anything I should do about it

Not sure what the two buttons are that I’m supposed to push? The side button isn’t working at all. How can I restart it? Thanks

Pushing the center left button should work. However a few times I pushed and absolutely nothing happened. The first 2 times it came back by itself. The last time I noticed there was crud around the button. I took a cotton ball and some alcohol and cleaned around the button. It’s has been fine ever since. 🤞 hope this helps!

Hi
my daughter got her Versa at Xmas, It has been playing up now for over a month with the back button now not working at all. So she cannot do anything with it at all any more. It has also for some reason changed the time so it’s 4 hours out, but clearly we can’t change it. I have tried the reboot multiple times but is exactly the same. Help please!

Take some alcohol on a cotton ball and clean around the button. It works for me.

I got my Versa for christmas last year. I've been wearing since I charged it that day. I would always take it off when I showered. I even would take it off to wash my hands. I read in the product description that it was good for swimming at least that would seem since one of the activities is swimming. The first time I went swimming with it all the settings where scrambled. I figured I did that in my sleep. The second time and the last time I went swimming with it on then the left hand button stopped working. I tried cleaning with a toothpick but that didnt do anything. I tried canned air and nothing. Then everything else started to happen. It would only keep a charge for 1/2 a day. When I had it on the charger it kept counting steps and it wasnt moving at all. The touch screen would only respond every once in a while. I tried a reset and then it died. The screen gets all these colorful lines and I cant read anything. The watch then unlinked from my phone. I've tried to do a factory reset but with all the buttons stopped working I feel stuck. Anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Hi @Abrogley can you come back and edit your post to remove your personal information? You can do that by pulling down on the three dots upper right of your post and select "edit" and then remove the information and hit "post"

I went back the 3 dots do not bring up and edit button. I tried to edit my profile and it would let me do that eighter.

@Vicrod that comment was for another person and not you. Usually when someone on a forum wants to respond to a certain person, they tag you, using your name. You're receiving emails from having posted in this thread. Your post didn't have personal information in it, so you're fine.
