I just got a Fibit Versa and am using with Motorola G5 Plus phone. For about a week, the Versa can connect to GPS for my daily run and bike. But for the past 10 days it cannot connect to GPS at all; for all of these activities that require GPS, Versa keeps saying "connecting... " but can never connect.
I have followed all advice I found on this community forum (make sure phone GPS on, Fitbit App running in background, Fibit has permission to use location, connected GPS set to On, turn off WiFi, etc., etc.) but none of these helped.
If anyone had the same issue with the same Android phone (could it be my particular Moto G5 Plus phone?), please advise of any possible fix. Thank you very much.

@hungster I'm sorry for the late response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not connecting to your phone's GPS. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
Please check out and follow the steps that are listed in this help article. This may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.
Also, check out this help page which contains a list of the supported devices. In case your phone is not listed, this may be the reason why the GPS feature doesn't work properly.
Keep me posted on the outcome!

Thank you for your suggested response. It took me a while to try all different combinations (!) and I finally got my versa to communicate with my phone GPS although it is unclear to me why it stopped connecting to the phone GPS in the first place. The only thing I can conclude is that it appears that Fitbit needs more than just the Location and Phone permissions to my phone, but I have to turn on permission for others (like Camera, Storage, etc.). I am not sure if that makes sense.
