I have a new Versa, set it up, (with a delay to get clock faces) and now it will not connect to wifi, at home or at work.  Cannot find any network, even when entered manually

@JXK58 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Is your Versa fully charged? The Versa won't connect to wifi networks if the battery is below 25% so it is important you charge it. Also try restarting it by doing the following:

1.- Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
2.- Let go of the buttons.
3.- If your Fitbit watch doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.

Let me know how it goes!

This didn't work for me.  It did ask me if I wanted to pair my versa with my Surface.  The versa is not finding the wifi at all.

OK, sorted now, but it did involve starting from scratch - turned my Versa back to factory settings, removed it from phone, bluetooth, switches everything off, then started again and it all went normally!  Phew!!

I just got my fitbit yesterday too and called fitFit and they didn't even know what was wrong with the device.

Here is what's wrong, it's either the device or the software but there is a Authentication issue with the devices and it with both bluetooth and wifi. I hope they fix it with the software and next set of devices.

How to make it work is to make an guess network on your router or remove the password from you wifi if you know how to do that and then it will connect to WiFi without any problems. Just remembered to put wifi password back when your done setting up your device. And if you use a guess network just hide the network name so no one will know it's there.

I do recommend the guess network option  because you will need the no password connection to connect to WiFi untill fitbit  sends out the software fix. And let's hope it a software fix.

whats a guess network if your site only sees the one you have? Anything you make up is not going to work if it has no connection
