Versa changed clock face and language and unpaired from the account

I have just bought a new versa I have set it all up and then six times this afternoon it has changed clock face without asking it has changed language without being told to, lost my steps and disappeared off the app. I’m losing the will. It has been reset several times now I’m in despair and about to send it back

Weird behaviour.

First try restarting it to see if it clears the problem

Shut down the watch

[ Swipe left, Settings,

at the bottom, About,

at the bottom, Shutdown]

 

wait a minute


Start the watch

[Hold the button till it vibrates or logo appears]

Wait for the clock to reappear.

 

 

If it doesn't probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

Thanks tried all that. Thought I’d sorted it but then this morning it had done it again. I’ll call them tomorrow

If you have an Android phone this might keep it working

On the phone check battery optimizations

[the options may be different in your version]

  • First go to Settings > Apps & Notification > Special app access
  • Click on Battery optimization
  • Now press the drop down menu [...] and select “All Apps
  • Click on Bluetooth and then select “Don’t optimize
  • Same with Fitbit
  • Next go to Settings > Apps  > Fitbit > Storage
  • Clear cache [not data]
  • Force stop the Fitbit app
