Versa coming apart -- top glass popped off.

I have had my Versa for about a year or less.  TonighI looked down and the top half of it was hanging loose.  I am able to put it back on but it has now popped up a couple times.  Does anyone know of an email address for Fitbit for me to report this and see if I can get a replacment -- I cannot imagine that this device is suppose to fall apart with normal wear.  Thanks in advance.

And now it doesn't work right either 😞

Call their 1 800 number. Google it. They will send you repair instructions.

There are repair instructions for this? I never got those - they offered to me to buy a new with 25% discount. 😂😂😂 Yah...right... that’s what I wanna do, throw another 200,- EUR away. 😂

Could anyone post these repair instructions? They sent me a replacement after I insisted on it since I was still in warranty. The replacement is totally malfunctioning though, has a life of it’s own, switching randomly to alarms, exercises, etc. without any input. Only about 2/3 of the screen is visible, oh, and it flickers as well... great replacement. 🙄

I would prefer to have my first one repaired of that is possible tbh.

Contact them again. Tell them the replace is defective.

Same thing happened to me this week.  I am right around 3 weeks (!!!) out of warranty.  I'm not even going to contact customer service - I know what the answer will be.

I think this is the end of my fitbit relationship.  I've had to replace too many over the years (I've been wearing them since the first charge).  I splurged for the versa thinking it would be more resilient.  Should NOT be replacing a $200 watch annually.  Guess I'll start shopping alternatives.....

I haven't seen instructions on how to fix the screen, I have seen advertisements about companies that will replace the screen on a Fitbit.

I'm not sure why, but many many people have no issues with their fitbit's and some or still using their 5 year old units. While a few can only get a Fitbit to last 4 months.

I bought my Versa in May of last year and was very happy with it until my screen popped off a few days ago. The screen still works and I can pop it back in, but it doesn't stay in place for long.

Also, I sometimes swim with this watch so I wouldn't want to risk fixing this by myself.

I contacted customer service and gave them all my product's information. They kept asking for pictures and when I finally provided pictures they told me I was out of warranty. They needed pictures to figure that out?

Also, their only solution was a 25% discount. What, so I can buy another Versa a year from now?

They also told me that I am out of warranty, but it seems to be a bit of a standard answer. They also offered me 25% discount (which is a bit ridiculous, why would anyone want to buy a new watch if they malfunction that quickly?).

They did send me a replacement after I pushed back. Maybe they just try to get people first to buy another watch?

There seems to be something fundamentally wrong with the Versa, screens popping off, sudden black screens, fast draining battery - and happening after about a year in a lot of cases. That’s not a great lifespan for a 200,- device...

My advice: ask them to escalate it to their specialist team to have a look again.

There are no repair instructions, I was referring to contacting the
manufacturer, which is Fitbit. If your watch is within warranty, they
have their own solutions. If your watch is out of warranty, they will
offer you a percentage off on a new one. Some retailers will also offer a
care and maintenance plan for an extra charge. This will extend your
limited warranty on the watch.
As far as why some will get more wear then others, that is a lifestyle.
Even though the Fitbit is designed to wear 24 hours a day, some lifestyles
are rougher than others. Maybe some should consider going to more of a
metal style.
