Versa compatibility with Huawei Mate 20 Pro

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Despite many customers requesting previously, the Versa still isn't compatible with Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Find it works occasionally but if not synced regularly then all notifications stop until synced again. This was the main reason I bought the Versa (having an iphone previously) and seriously fed up that it is not well advertised about compatibility. When will Fitbit add this phone as a compatible device?

@annajacko89, welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Versa not getting notifications regularly from your phone. As you mentioned your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. Not sure when or if the phone will be added to the list but you can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi,

I can get it to work intermittently but if not synced the connection drops off. Usually after about a day. It is the compatibility that I would like an answer on.

Thanks
