Versa connect to wifi, and has wrong date

I didn't use my versa for a while in the start of December, now I've been trying to use it since Dec 24 but it is 12 hours behind and on the wrong day-I can't seem to change this.

Also I cannot update my watch because it tries to connect over Bluetooth and doesn't work, and I am trying over wifi but it will not connect either.. So I'm trying to just connect my wifi network to my watch but the connect wifi page just never loads. I can't use my watch at all like this and I'm not sure how to fix this when the app won't even load--it took a whole night for the app and watch to sync even.. Not sure what to do 😞

Let me help you figure out what is going on with your Versa. Thanks for sharing everything that you have tried. I will also be moving this thread to the Versa board as I think it is better suited for it.

 

In regards to the syncing, I'd like to ask some questions:

  • What phone are you trying to sync to?
  • Do you get any error messages?
  • Have you connected another Fitbit to that phone before? Or your Fitbit to another phone?
  • Is it a private WiFi that you are trying to connect to or is it public?

In regards to the WiFi, I recommend that you try following the steps listed in this help article and also this article to help with the syncing. If you get the Fitbit to sync with your phone then that should fix the time and date settings as it should be taking them automatically from your phone.

So the syncing matter is fixed and all is good there.

My phone model is the Huawei p20 pro.

In regards to the update: it will not find my watch over Bluetooth, and I
am not sure why. The next option is to update over wifi which also just
loads into oblivion and I'm assuming I need to set up the wifi - which when
I try, the loading sign just loads forever. I followed the articles advice
but it has no worked :(.
