Hey,
So today due to flu I stayed at home and didn't go anywhere just stayed in bed, however I realized that my Versa counted that I climbed 5 floors. I wonder how it's possible? I got my versa 2 weeks ago, and ith charge 2 i didnt have such problem. i start to think that that perhaps the watch is broken?

Hi, @Kasia89,occasional counting of extra floors is very common and occurs with all Fitbit trackers that are able to count floors. It is very unlikely that your Fitbit is broken.
The extra floor counts are because the Fitbit is fitted with a very sensitive altimeter device that detects very subltle changes in air pressure. It needs to be so sensitive in order to detect a rise in as little as 10 feet. Unfortunately that also means that it can be affected by changes in weather, particularly if a storm is brewing, or even a sudden slamming of a door oe a blast from an air conditioner.
Most people take the floor counts with a bit of a grain of salt. You may like to know that floor counts are not included in calorie burn calculation.

Hi Julia,
thank you. How would you explain that my partner has Ionic and we sit in the same room, yet my fitbit says i climed 3 floors, his ionic says 0 floors.

I would explain that by saying that it is likely to confirm what I said. Neither of you climbed any floors, but it is likely that your Fitbit was in a draft, or otherwise detected a tiny drop in pressure.
Note that 3 floors is a difference of only 30 feet. The air pressure difference is tiny! It could easily be explained by difference in levels of sensitivity or you sitting in a draft.
