My Fitbit Versa adds an enormous number of steps and floors climbed while riding my motorcycle. Not sure if its due to vibrations but would like to know if I can delete the false readings from my IOS app?
Thanks in advance.

Hello @aax, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
Thanks for bringing this situation to my attention. Please take in consideration that Fitbit has worked hard to make sure that our devices do not pick up false steps or activity recordings while driving a car or a motorcycle. However, bumpy trails can sometimes cause your tracker to register extra steps and floors. Regardless of activity, you can negate steps and floors by logging a driving activity on your activity log. To do so:
1. Sign into your Dashboard and click the 'Log Activity' icon from the menu at the top of the screen.
2. Select the date or dates in question.
3. In the activity menu, type in "Driving" and enter the time and duration of time that you were driving.
4. Click "Log Activity." You will see the steps, calories burned, and other data decrease for the time period specified.
You can continue this process on all the dates in question to decrease your steps, calories burned, and other activity data.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

You should not have to do this. Apple iWatch and Samsung Gear watches all know automatically when you're on a motorcycle or riding a bike. You should not have to go in and adjust your activity and steps after the fact.
Something is wrong with these watches or the software because when I select biking as my exercise activity and go on a 2-hour bike ride it also gives me over 10,000 steps during the same time.

I previously had an Apple Watch and it would occasionally report that I was
riding a bicycle when I was actually riding a motorcycle. I believe it
worked on how fast you were going. Seeing how the Fitbit Versa lacks GPS
functionality I don't know if there is a way for them to make this
determination.
Also note that I wear my Versa on my left wrist which is the throttle hand. It could be that the constant rocking back & forth is being counted as steps.

I earned 30 floors counted yesterday just from walking a few miles. If I log the activity as driving, will that negate the steps and calories I burned in the process? I might get rid of the inaccurate floors, but will that also erase the work I put in walking?

Is there some way to keep it from counting steps while I am riding my motorcycle? Or do I have to go in and do a correction every time? You would think that it would know I cant walk 30 mph or more.

Absolutely ridiculous. How about I just buy a $10 watch and return the Versa? I am not impressed with this issue and workaround.

This solution did not work for me. The steps, burned cals, floors, etc... are all still there. Is there another way to remove this activity?
