Hi! I recently upgraded from a Charge 2 to Versa and the main reason was because of the swim mode. But I have noticed some problems with the swim mode. The first problem is that the lap count is far from accurate. I swam 20 lengths and the Versa counted only 7. Could the problem be that I dont touch the edge when completing the lap? I just make a U-turn.
The other problem is that it counts steps while in swim mode. I read in another thread that the step count function is supposed to be turned off automatically while being in swim mode? How can I fix this?

@Valaz Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't counting all your laps while swimming. From what I have heard from other swimmers here in the Community you do need to touch the edge as this movement let the Versa know you completed one length. Please try this to see if it works. Regarding the steps your Versa will always count steps as the accelerometer is always working but if it detects that you are swimming then the calories will be counted taking this into consideration and supersede any other activity for this period of time.

Okay so i tried touching the edge and now it works perfectly. However, i have experienced some other issues.
*To begin with, the distance measured while im running is incorrect. The distance measured for the exact same running path differs alot. Once it said that I ran 9km and another time i showed 5.6km or something like that. Sometimes it shows 7, 8, its different every time. And when I ran another path with my friend, who also have a Versa, his Versa showed that we ran 10km (which is 100% correct) and mine showed 13km.
*Also, the GPS tracked is waaay off. It hasnt been correct once. When i ran around a lake it just showed a vertical line over the water as if I had swom across it.
*I also noticed that the Versa counts steps while im driving.
Is there something I can do to fix this or do I need to return and get another copy?
