Ever since I got my Versa it seems to be grossly over exaggerating my stair count. I had the Charge 2 before the Versa and it was fairly accurate with my stair count, but now it’s more than doubling the number of floors I climb in a day.
Is this a known issue? Has the way in which the Versa calculates stairs climbed change significantly over the Charge 2? I’ve now gone from averaging 15 floors a day to 34.

Sounds like a very wise move. I think you will really enjoy the new one. I love mine, little bugs and all. Amazing piece of tech.

Fitbit has replaced by Versa 2 or 3 times because of this problem with the problem with over counting floors. I'm continuing to have the same problem with this most recent one they replaced. Surely, there has to be a fix they can do.

Apparently not. Didn’t even fix it in the new light version apparently. If people keep buying them why bother.

Soes anyone have the opposite issue? I live in a ranch house with a basement. The stairs are about 8ft and go up and down daily 5 to 6 times. Sometimes it registers 1 or 2 but never an accurate count. On windy days in Michigan, I may climb no stairs and get 7 or 8? I have written off the floor count as just not a part of fitbits tracking. Fortunately I rely on steps, active minutes and sleep tracking and heart rate which all seem to be fairly accurate. My wifes charge 3 is the same. Stairs a no go.

Same thing I had charge 2 got at most 2 floors aday . got a versa2 My floors every day over 200 . My versa broken so I sent it in put my old charge2 on back down to one floor aday today. Biggest kicker I have a ranch house all 1floor no basement. 99.9% I walk up no floors ever. The 1 floor I alway seem to get is walk up my driveway after checking mail... versa2 is super sensitive I could sneeze be onto of the empire state building

I recently replaced my Blaze with the Versa 2 and I live on Florida's east coast. This morning I walked at 6 o'clock with the temp at 77 and 94% humidity. I was surprised to see that I had recorded 10 floors while on my walk. There must be an issue with how the Versa 2 calculates floors. My Blaze was always fairly accurate.
