I got a Versa in May and so far I really like it. I have a Charge 2, that was my first Fitbit. I have seen lots of threads and comments about the stair counting issue. But I don't see any clear resolution. I have see the posts about driving, etc., but that is not where I have problems. The stairs tends to happen when I am walking and sometimes even sitting. Many days it will say I have climbed 100 flights of stairs when I have never gong up a hill or a flight of stairs. For example, since I got up this morning, I have only walked around the house, and we don't have stairs. It says I have climbed 19 floors. Is Fitbit are of this and is there any fix coming? I know the Versa has an altimeter, etc.. Why does it count 100+ stairs in a day when the Charge 2 doesn't. Can the stair counting sensitivity be turned down, or even just turn it off. I know it can be removed from view in the app, but is till shows on the Versa and it's so wildly incorrect, it's really a big mark against another wise great device.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @sgtdisney! I am sorry for the delayed response.
I am glad to hear you like your Fitbit Versa and understand your concern with counting too many floors. Thank you for letting me know that you didn't experience this issue with your first Fitbit Charge 2. Our team is always working on improving our devices and user experiences, and your comments are always welcome.
Your device may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Devices may track floors while doing everyday tasks such as opening doors, driving, or riding elevators or escalators, or from abrupt weather and atmospheric pressure changes. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors. If you haven't done so, I'd like you to restart your device as described in this help article. This will refresh your Versa internally. If you want to remove floors from your account, please follow these steps.
If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
