I damaged my versa in an unfortunate accident and cracked it glass a little bit. I have been asking the support email to guide me in terms of getting it repaired (with my own expense that is) but all they are replying is that "it doesn't come under warranty claim" which I KNOW and i am not asking for it anyways and also saying that fitbit DOES NOT have a repair center. I mean a globally renowned product which has such a huge global distribution does not have a repair center, how is that possible? I've bought an expensive product and used it for hardly a few days and now i am unable to use it. This is very frustrating and i don't know what to do. Can anyone help??

@onemeltingman A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear about your damaged Versa. As Support explain Fitbit doesn't have a repair center so fixing this even at your own expense isn't possible. Not sure if third parties can repair the Versa but note that this would void the warranty. Still I hope you can get some ideas from the Community.
I'll be around!

Voiding the warranty for repairing, especially when Fitbit refuses to provide repair services, is illegal.

@onemeltingman If you've only had it a few days and you bought it from someone else besides fitbit, the retailer may exchange for you. Other options are to check if your credit card (if you bought with one) offers purchase protection. Also, some locales have strong consumer protection laws, so you might see if there's relief there.

Its strange that they don't have a repair center - especially since the warranty doesn't cover some pretty regular type of damage (a cracked screen can happen to anyone at anytime) and if you try to get it fixed - the warranty is voided!!!! WOW!

Hi,
I used it for hardly 3 days, went to the retailer and kept following up but they are useless. They said they can't do anything.
I checked, the credit card doesn't offer purchase protection.
