So, I went to grab my Fitbit to put on and it fell off my counter and onto the floor. And what does it do? Hit the edge and splits the screen! I had a Blaze before this one and the same thing has happened but no screen cracking occurred! Where am I supposed to get the screen fixed? The person I chatted with on Fitbit website said they can’t fix it. This seems ridiculous. I haven’t even had it in the 45 guarantee window!

The warranty is 1 year, the return window is 45 days, and nor the warranty nor the 45 day return cover clumsyness, but you can go ahead and try to return it to where it was purchased from, without saying that you cracked it, if you'd like.

The part I was referring to about being ridiculous is that I don’t have a way to get it fixed (I don’t care about paying to repair it) nor do I want to pay for a brand new one. I can’t return it to a store because I bought it off the Fitbit website.

A warm welcome to the Community @Akartak and @Dave1596 thanks for stopping by.
I am sorry to hear about what happened with your Versa. As mentioned, our warranty doesn't cover this type of damages. I know that it would be great to have a repair center but unfortunately this isn't planned. If this isn't too much to ask, could you please tell me which solution provided you our support team?
Hope to hear from you soon.

All I was told was that it wasn’t covered under warranty and that there wasn’t a way to repair the screen. I am shocked how easily it broke. I had a Blaze previously for over a year and had moments of basic clumsiness like I just had with the Versa, and it never cracked. I was in disbelief that it was so easily done. I completely understand that it isn’t under warranty, but not having any way to fix it seems ridiculous.

Had the same problem. I'm outraged that Fitbit have no service centre or plans for one. Fitbit have history on this one. The original Fitbit had a strap that couldn't be replaced which failed within a year or so from the constant taking on and off as the product wasn't waterproof. I assume as the screen can't be replaced, then neither can the battery, meaning none of the Versa's will be holding charge after two years or so.The business model is predicated on a two year replacement cycle. Good luck trying to shift any product in 2020 when people get wise to this. Poor company , poor product. Unlikely to still be around in 5 years

Fitbit has never fixed any of its devices as they consider them disposable.

@Akartak If you bought it with a credit card, they may cover you. Give your bank a call. And use a glass screen protector next time.
