Versa cradle makes a rattling sound

Bought a Versa today and upon taking it out of the box I noticed the charging cradle makes a rattling sound when moved around. It sounds like there are little pieces of something plastic? loose inside the cradle. The Versa was still able to charge, but I'm wondering if the cradle is supposed to rattle? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Mine doesnt rattle. Glad yours is charging OK.

I just opened mine today and it also rattles. Not sure if this is normal or not. Versa is on cradle and appears to be charging.

I bought a versa for my husband for Christmas and his charger is rattling. I also have a versa and my charger does not rattle. The charger seems to work fine...for now anyway.

This is my second charger and it is also rattling now. I spoke to an agent today that told me that it is unusual but noted it in my file. Since it is still charging he wasn't sending me a new one, but gave me a reference number if anything should go wrong with it. I asked him if others had a similar problem and he said not many. I don't believe that as I look at the community board and see others. Hopefully it will continue to charge and if not they send me a new one. Obviously there is an issue with them.

I received my Versa that I ordered from Target yesterday. The charger that came in the box with the Fitbit did not rattle. The extra charger I bought rattled so I returned it. The next charger I bought rattled as well, it was returned. Very frustrating. I’m sure it would work fine for a bit, but the chunks rattling around in there cannot be a good thing. Hopefully I can find another one that doesn’t rattle so I can have one in my car.

Even though mine is still rattling, it is still working. As long as they have it on file that I made a call regarding this issue I am hoping when it doesn't work any longer they will replace it. I can't believe they don't find this a problem.

Mine has always rattled and it’s been fine - until yesterday when it rattled a bit louder and now it won’t charge. It’s out of the manufacturers warranty now so I’m buggered and will have to buy a new charger and hope that it works!

Have you reported it at all before it stopped working. I made sure that I reported it and if there is a problem I believe they would replace it. This is my second one. They did replace my first one, but it was brand new. I would try it anyway.

Bit late for the OP but if you experience it now, remove the bottom plate. The rattling is the screw come loose/broken mounting post for the weights in the base. This is clearly a fire hazard and against EU compliance.
