Versa detects my reading as if were sleeping

This is probably more of a gripe than a request for help, though if Ftibit could figure this out and fix it that would be great.

My problem is I like to read each night when I go to bed. I might read for thirty minutes, I might read for two hours. My Versa doesn't seem to know the difference between reading and sleeping because it will count all that time as sleeping. It kind of messes up any tracking of sleep.

Hi there @dgcasey, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the inconveniences you've been having with your sleep tracking, I understand where your concern is coming from and how you must be feeling about the discrepancy of your data. I'll be glad to help you.

Please know when your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, your Fitbit device records that you’re asleep. Your Fitbit device detects and records naps that are at least an hour long. To learn more about your sleep, see: How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?  and What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Edit or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

I understand all that, but when I'm reading, I am obviously moving my hands when I turn pages. The Versa still records that as sleeping time. I went to bed just after 4:00am and read for about ninety minutes or until about 6:00am. As you can see, according to my Versa, I was in deep sleep during that time.
