Versa disconnects from phone when tracking bike rides

Ik recently wanted tot start using my Fitbit versa 2 tot track my route while I ride a bike. So I connect my Fitbit with my iPhone. At first it works well, but if It check my Fitbit again a few minutes later it deels have disconnected. And If don't know how you keep my Fitbit connected tot my iPhone.

Regarding the connection issues between your phone and Versa 2 during the bike activities, I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via email. Please reply to their email in case the issue persists and they'll be happy to follow up and assist you accordingly.

I have the same problem. I make sure that the Fitbit shows that my phone is connected but almost immediately after I start it disconnects. For example, I went on a 14-mile ride and it only thinks I went 6 miles.

I'm having the same problem while walking (Android phone). Most times connect, and disconnect within minutes of walking. Now it won't connect at all!

Just saw a fix for this! Go to the app setting and under location select allow all the time. The update made it change to allow only while app is in use.

I already did that a few weeks ago when the Fitbit app asked to have permission.
