Versa display not working

Hi everyone, I bought my Versa 2 months ago. I went swimming last week then was at a wedding so didn't wear my Fitbit. I put it on charge when I returned home but the display is not working properly and I can't see anything? Anyone help?

@Dezarae @GHS1953 @Rustyg918 @glynn4321d  I'm sorry for the late response. However, I would like to follow up on the display issue that your Versa watches are experiencing.

 

If you haven't done so, please restart your watches as described in this help article. After this, charge them for 2-3 hours and see if they vibrate. If they do, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

im having the same issue with mine. I tried all the trouble shooting options and none seem to work.

Call Fitbit and they will send you another one. Too many people have trouble with this ????

Just don’t have time to play with this. I just know that Fitbit sucks. After a while bunch of time and energy on my part then at best I get another verse. But why. It will dye as well so why bother trusting it or getting reliant on it when it’s only an untrustworthy source of data that will stop working within a very short time frame. Bet at best they would never last two years.

I have the same issue on a replacement Fitbit I received in April due to the charging battery issues. Has anyone been able to fix it?  Still works I believe it vibrates on texts and tracks when I sync but black screen tried turning off etc nothing......

If it’s still under warranty then have them replace it. Mine was a few weeks out of the warranty and they refused to replace it. I bought an Apple Watch and I love it

Same, I bought an Apple Watch & never looked back! Just mad I didn’t buy the Apple Watch from the beginning! If a product has to get replaced 3x in 6 months then that product is garbage!

Thanks to all. I am leaning towards moving on to the Apple Watch. I sent Fitbit an email we will see what they say/do. The product has been challenging but I will say their customer service has been amazing that is why maybe one more try.

I agree about the customer service that’s why I stayed with Fitbit for years that’s why I was so upset that they didn’t stand behind their versa product especially when they said in their email that they have heard that other customers are having the same problem. Love my Apple Watch

Fitbit screen went blank. Tried various options. Spoke to support. A replacement will be sent. In the past 3 years I've gone through 2 Fitbit watches and 1 warranty replacements for each. The reliability of these devices is simply unacceptable. Once this replacement dies (which should be soon) I will be switching to a different fitness tracker. I can't even get 2 years out of these devices.

Thank you I just received my second replacement the last in April. I do love it and most of my friends use it and we compete so I am hoping this one lasts. Their customer service is outstanding but it is a hassle if they keep failing

I know I went to the web page and opened a ticket they agreed and sent me a new device I auggest you try that 😉

I am having the same problem and they won't send me a new one either.

works when on the charger but black screen when not on charger.

I have had 3 already. 3rd ones a charm. Call again and hopefully they’ll replace it

Hi Lucy, I had a similar situation. Where the screen blacked out (not even greying). Initially I thought it was total but after a recommended charge the green lights are working and I can see device on Bluetooth too. Can you please help?? How can I get this fixed? It's still under warranty... Stopped working in March, bought in late October
