Hello,
Versa is 1 week old, worked fine the first week but did the software update yesterday and now my display is stuck on the blue battery vertical bar on the left and the Fitbit logo in the centre. My battery is fully charged. It appears to be working as it is updating my stats to my phone/iPad app, just no stats or clock on the display visible on the Versa directly.
Any suggestions?

This means the Versa is going through an update. Don't interrupt it. If you do, make sure you have your wifi settings on for a 2.4Ghz network in the fitbit app wifi settings so that this update goes faster.

So, how long should such an update take? My Versa has been in this state now for at least 6 hours.

1 of 2 things are going on. 1) You might have very slow internet. 20 minutes for me was on 70-80mb/s download speed. 2) You're updating over Bluetooth, which is significantly slower than Wi-Fi.

Thanks for the response. I spoke with Fitbit tech support and we tried a few things and they concluded that there's something wrong with my device. So, I'm returning it.
I hope when I get the replacement, things will work...
