Versa display won't turn on - Lightly vibrating

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa is just under a year old and a couple of days ago it started vibrating randomly, then two days ago the screen went off ad it just vibrated lightly and nothing I did helped. Once I put it on charge it seemed fine. After it charged I changed the clock screen as I thought that may have triggered the vibrating but yesterday the screen went off and it started vibrating again , this time I left it until it died then put it on charge and as soon as it’s in the charger clip it starts to vibrate, I can’t connect via Bluetooth and the app is not syncing, I can’t even factory reset. What must I do?

Hi @asheevee95, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this situation can be for you. To fix this uncommon issue, I recommend you to follow the next steps to factory reset your Fitbit Versa:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the device successfully resets, please use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware. You can check: How do I update my Fitbit device? for more details.

Just keep in mind that a factory reset procedure erase stored data, including the stats that were not synced to your Fitbit account. Also, applications installed, music downloaded, alarms, etc.

Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

I have tried to factory reset but it just continues to vibrate and nothing shows on the screen. Iv also left it to go flat but when I put it in the charger it just starts to vibrate lightly.
