Versa displaying the incorrect time

My Fitbit Versa is displaying the wrong time, it's working correctly in every other  way, it's counting my steps, sleep, I'm getting notifications. I've tried restarting the watch 3 times. It seems to be syncing, what do I need to do? Has anyone else had the same issue?

Thanks in anticipation,

I'm using versa 2 and recently has a hard time trying out solutions found on net. Finally I did a factory reset on my versa 2 and re-pair with my app. All worked well since. No more time sync issue. Fast battery drain issue also resolved... From a few hours of use each day to last 2 to 3 days per charge. So it's not app nor settings issue but watch's.

Did both before posting....still didn’t work. Called Fitbit. They closed file without it being relsolved. Now have Apple Watch. No problems with it

My Fitbit versa2 was doing the same thing. I went into settings and Bluetooth on my phone and told it to forget the device. Then I paired the versa2 with my phone and everything was corrected.

That did not work. Nothing has worked. Tech support couldn’t make it work. I now have an Apple Watch

I received mine as a gift two months ago and I noticed that the last digit in my time on my Versa 3 won't go to number 6. It skips it every single time. It goes straight from 5 to 7.

Found a fix for me:

I had recently changed my wifi in my home but didn't update it for my Fitbit. Once I added the wifi network the next time I synced the time updated to the correct time (had drifted about ten minutes)

Not sure if this will help everyone but I also had problems with the time being off by an hour. I discovered that under my Account in the App Settings the Automatic Time Zone was off. As soon as I turned it on my problem was solved...had no idea it was off or that there was a setting for it, I just assumed it synced with my phone.

What I did to fix mine was I went into the fitbit app and changed my time zone from the current one to another one. After that I would sync my versa, then change the time zone back to the correct one. Once the time zone is changed back I would then sync the device once more. If this doesn't work for yall then I would recommend contacting fitbit customer support.

My Versa 2 randomly lost over 2 hrs when taken off charge today.  I tried the force restart methods unsuccessfully, it was synching ok with the phone app with the correct date but the time remained wrong.

After a lot of messing around, I finally managed to sort it by logging into the Fitbit app on the pc, changing the timezone to something different, then force synched from the phone.  I then changed back to the correct timezone via the pc and force synched again via the phone. this time it came right!

I’ve had exactly the same problem with my Versa not showing the correct time and of course it started going wrong after the 30th June it’s two year anniversary. I’ve been through everything that it just didn’t sync with my mobile and numerous attempts to Fitbit to  try and rectify.

This is my second Fitbit and I will not be having another I’m off. It’s completely worn me down. £189 for two years and then pack up! Call me a synic but I have the feeling that it’s built in to the system to fail after two years.

I have the same problem.  Even after it sync's the time is three or four minutes slower than actual time.  It happens almost every single day.  Bad programming from fitbit once again.  I would think this would be a simple problem to solve but apparently it is beyond their capability.  They keep saying you have to turn off the time zone and restart it again and then sync the fitbit again.  This sometimes fixes the problem but not always.  They need to make it much easier to keep the correct time.\

Hello everyone. For all of you who are new to the Fitbit community, welcome.

Thanks to all for the efforts to resolve the issue, sharing the solutions and steps you've tried. I understand that this can be very frustrating, your feedback and comments are greatly appreciated. Time on your watch should be corrected when you sync it.
