I went for a swim and since then my heart rate has been reading very accurate or not reading at all. I bought this it that because it was swimproof.... What did I do wrong?

Hi @Bernardette. I dont think you did anything wrong! Try restarting the Versa several times and see if that fixes it, but if it doesnt come back here for further assistance.

Welcome on board @Bernardette, it's nice to see you around here! I'd recommend trying the recommendation provided by @NellyG.
The optical sensor does not record data when the device is in swim mode because refraction from the water can impact the heart rate reading. I'd also recommend taking a look at: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device?
Hope this helps! I'll see you around the Versa board.

Same thing happened to me. Wore my Fitbit Versa lite swimming (not as an exercise activity btw) and since then my heart rate is over 150 bpm when sedentary. Today I have logged over 350 active minutes and burned almost 4000 calories (I wish that was true!). Reset, hard reset, factory reset…not fixing. 😑

I’m having exactly the same issue since yesterday. Went for a run in the rain and heart rate monitor has been erratic since then, over 150 while I’m sitting watching tv.
Have restarted, factory reset and nothing seems to work
