First, I would like to say that after some initial problems with my Versa battery (and a subsequent exchange), I am very happy with my Fitbit Versa.
I'm using my Fitbit in the mornings and afternoons when I workout on my Nordictrack Freestrider (https://www.nordictrack.com/freestride-trainers/nordictrack-fs9i-freestride-trainer). For those who don't know how it works, it functions like a cross between a treadmill and a elliptical (but it's more like a skiing motion at high cadence).
Anyways, when I compare my workouts to the built in app on my Freestrioder (IFit), I see that the heart rate is identical, the calories burned is identical, the time is identical, but the distance on my Fitbit shows about half of the distance as on the machine.
I've been bouncing between elliptical and treadmill activity mode on the Fitbit and activate them manually when I start my workout and end them when my workout is completed. Any suggestions on how to get the proper distance traveled in Fitbit? Should I try the "walking" mode, or something else entirely?
Thanks

It's great to see you around @Stupud.
If the distance that your Versa is registering isn't correct, I recommend checking your stride length information and edit it. And about your inquiry, keep in mind that you can always edit your exercises by taping the exercise tile, tap the exercise you want to edit, tap the pencil icon and edit the distance information.
For best practices to record your activity, you can check the help article How do I use exercise apps and modes on my Fitbit device?.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.
