I have been a Fitbit user since 2011. Just got the Versa April 13th. I have no problems with the setup, download etc.
The issue I have is that the steps that are not counted are not accurate at all with the distance. I have reset the phone, Versa, adjusted the stride, ect.
I have even worn the blaze and Versa together. Both are pretty close in steps but the Versa is off with the distance calculated with those steps.
I am kinda bummed because I really want the Versa to work.
Many ideas?
I have done all the usual stuff. I have had a Fitbit since the beginning but I have never had these issues.

Thanks for replying Dave,
I have adjusted my stride, both manually and let Fitbit calculate it on my height.
I have reset my phone, and reinstalled the Fitbit app. I have also restored the Versa to its factory settings and updated the Versa to its newest software update that was available. Reset it mite than the recommended 3 times.
But my Blaze is not having the same issue with steps/distance.

I have the same issue, compared to charge 2. I think this is bug in distance calculation.

I noticed this on mine as well, But once I synced to the app, everything seemed to line up pretty well. It still sucks though because I'd like see the accurate distance on my watch and not have to wait until i sync it up. That kills the phone and watch battery.

Same issue here. I haven't factory rest to force it to the newest OS update yet though. I see this only happening when I'm running on the treadmill or outside, my distance is off vs my blaze and my calorie count is WAY off, talking over 100 calories difference. I suppose I need to do the update and see if that fixes anything.

Is there an update for watch?? How do we know if there's an update waiting for us?
