Versa does not sync. Any advice how to fix this or perform factory reset?

I tried everything that support recommends but Vesta does not want to establish the bluetooth connection. I had similar issue with Charge 2 in the past and simple factory reset helped solve the issue.

Instructions posted on Fitbit Help to perform Versa reset are not possible to perform. These made me laugh  as Fitbit does not come with a charging cable but a DOCK which makes items 1 and 2 below impossible to perform. Trying to reset ignoring item 1 does not give any result. What to do?

  1. Connect the Fitbit Versa to the charging cable.
  2. Hold all 3 buttons for about 15 seconds, until the Fitbit logo appears.
  3. When the Fitbit logo disappears release the Bottom Right button, then keep holding the Left and Top Right button until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated. This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the static logo will appear and the device will boot the image on the factory slot (Says go to Fitbit.com/setup). If you fail to release the 'Bottom Right button' in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure the static logo will reappear quickly and boot without factory reset

Check and see if you have a Fitbit supported device.

My versa lite only has one button!

Best Answer

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Geoff21.

To perform a soft restart on your Versa Lite you need to press the left button for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit icon on the display. It's not recommended to perform a factory reset, unless our Support team instructed you to do it as part of their troubleshooting steps.

See you around.
