I am fed up with fitbit!!!
In May of 2018 my son bought me the Versa in June or July of 2019 it stopped working. After hours on the phone with support came down to having to buy a new fitbit.
Now May 2021 my fitbit went black So AGAIN I spent time on a chat going though all the steps again and a factory reset had to be done and it came back for a time.
Now over the past week there is no vibration, the screen fades in and out, it will not read my heart rate, will not track my exercise or sleep and the battery drains in less then 18 hours. In fact it seems to only track my steps and the time.
I am sick of having to buy a new fitbit ever year or 2 usaly right after the warranty runs out. I can not afford to keep doing this. As much as I like the tracking it does, I am thinking of giving up some of the features to go to a smart watch that will last longer with out issues.
Does anybody know of a fix or if maybe the versa 3 or sense has less issues and will last longer the 2 years?

Versa 2 is the worst tracker I’ve ever had. Been with Fitbit from the beginning and they’ve made a mistake trying to be Apple Watch. I just want a fitness tracker I really don’t care about all the other nonsense they’ve added to it now. Going with a Luxe when it drops on June.

I purchased my Versa Lite in December 2020, in January of this year.... right after the warranty expired the screen on my fibit started getting a huge white line down the side that interfered with reading my stats. I called fitbit and of course they told me the warranty had expired and I could purchase a new one with a slight discount. I decided to keep it and deal with the messed up screen. This week the heart rate reader stopped working, which means it stopped recording my sleep, my active zone minutes and my hourly steps!!! I'm so irritated! This is the 3rd fitbit I have purchased in the last 5 years!!! I truly believe they are much like cell phones, they are designed to only last until the next bigger and better version comes out for the stupid consumers like ourselves to keep forking out money if we want a product that works. I just ordered a Charge 4 without some of the perks that the Versa had, but honestly all I'm concerned about are my steps, active minutes and sleep score anyway I don't need the Alexa assistance, apps, clock faces, etc. Now I'm really reconsidering my purchase and think maybe I should look at other brands!!!
