Versa doesn't connect and notifications aren't working

Versa won’t connect with Bluetooth and won’t receive texts/messages

 

I’m beyond frustrated with my Versa! I think I’ve done everything I have found for each of these problems and I can’t get my Versa back up and working. I’ve only had it since Christmas and nothing should be this difficult! Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the steps that you've tried to get your Versa working. I see where are you coming from and I'm sorry that you've gone through this experience. I'm here to help you out. So I can investigate, please provide me with the following information:

  • Your phone's model and iOS version.
  • Fitbit app version.
  • Do you have other devices nearby with the Bluetooth enabled?
  • Troubleshooting steps that you've tried.

Although you've tried troubleshooting your device, I'd recommend to give one last try to the following steps in the given order:

  1. Remove your Versa from the Bluetooth settings in your phone.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
  3. On your phone's settings, tap on Notifications > Messages and turn on the options under "Alerts".

  4. Also, verify that the option "Show In History" or "Show Previews" is set to "Always".

  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap on the Account icon > Versa image > Notifications.
  6. When prompted tap on the option to pair via Bluetooth.

Here is a thread that I had. I was havi.g the same problem. Check your version of the fitbit app. When fitbit updated the app ot messed up my text message notifications. I did a lot of digging and it was the update. Hope this helps!
