Versa doesn't connect to laptop

I'm so frustrated. I owned a £30 cheap tracking watch and decided to upgrade to a Fitbit but have had nothing but problems.  I mainly went for the versa as I want to be able to listen to music without having to take my phone out with me.  The only way to do this is to transfer MP3s or to have a Deezer account (Spotify only works if you have your phone nearby).  I also want to primarily use my laptop to look at my Fitbit data.

After having constant issues synching my Fitbit with my laptop I was finally sent a replacement Fitbit.  The replacement is no better, if anything it's worse.  It never syncs and in desperation I disconnected it completely so I could try again but now the device doesn't even appear on the list of bluetooth devices on my computer.  I use plenty of other bluetooth devices so I don't think the problem is with my computer.  I've tried putting the computer right next to the Fitbit while it's charging, turning off the bluetooth on my phone to ensure there is no clash, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, updating Windows etc. etc.

Given that I have a replacement device and I've tried all of the recommended steps to fix the problem to no avail, I can only conclude that it's a design fault.

Purchasing this watch seems to have been a huge waste of money.  I should have stuck with the budget version.  It wasn't fancy but at least it worked. Gutted.

Now I have to decide whether I can bring myself to go to the very lengthy process of discussing the problem with tech support and repeating all of the same steps again with ultimately, I suspect, the same conclusion.

I can't believe that something this expensive doesn't do what it is supposed to do.

Hi @FustratedVersa , I really understand your frustration about not getting the Fitbit data on your laptop. To be able to do that, go on your laptop to: www.fitbit.com/consent. If you're not logged in to your Fitbit app on your mobile device, do so on this site and you should be able to get the data on you laptop. works for me all the time. Erik
