Hi @Smardt, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not tracking your stairs accurately. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. Also, I'd like to share this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks floors.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi @Smardt, thank you for getting back and trying the steps advised. In order to avoid providing the same information, please let me know what troubleshooting steps you have tried.

In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article in order to fix the syncing issue. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, monitor your watch and see if it connects with your phone.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
