I received the Fitbit Versa for Christmas and set everything up and noticed the fitbit app was using 49% of the battery. I have an iPhone X phone which is only a couple months old. I deleted the fitbit app off my phone, and restarted the phone, but the charge keeps going down. I can't seem to recharge it. It's at 24% and so won't last much longer. It has been plugged in all day, but nothing. What is going on?????

Well, it ended up being a defective iPhone. It is back at Apple being fixed. Hopefully, this will not happen when I put it on the phone again. Thank you!

Hi, although it's brand new, reboot your Versa twice by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill the Fitbit logo appears on your screen and release the buttons. If that does not solve your problem, I would advice you to call Customer Support as it might be that you have a faulty device. Good luck!

Do I understand you well that the Versa is not the problem, but your iPhone will nor charge??

Correct. Even after I took off the app from my phone and turned off the versa itself, the battery continued to drain until the phone was completely dead. I had noticed that after I had installed the app, my phone battery began to drain and saw that the app was using up 49% of the iPhone battery. Really bizarre. I had a chat with fitbit and they said it wasn't their app, but I find it very strange that the 3 month old iphone X was working great until I put the fitbit app on it. AT & T tried to restart it today, but it's as dead as a doornail.

Hi, the only thing I can advice for now is:
1. Turn off BT on your device and deinstall the Fitbit app.
2. Restart your device
3. Reinstall Fitbit again and turn on BT.
4. See if this works and does not drain your iPhone
When the battery drainage still persist, it's indeed not the Fitbit app, but your phone's battery IMO.

Thank you for your help. However, my phone is completely dead....I had already taken off the app , but the phone battery kept draining until it died....can't resurrect the phone at all. I'll take it to a local AT & T repair service and see if they can figure it out. But even if they do or I end up with a new phone, I'm still very hesitant to put the app back on as I really think that had something to do with the phone battery crash.
