Versa dropping GPS on bike ride

Trying to use the Versa to track bike rides.  The phone is on the bike as well and wifi is turned off.  Constantly having the GPS shut off (i guess) because at the end of  a 6 mile bike ride it only shows two miles or so.  Is this a problem others are having.  Is there a better fit bit to do this, or maybe just need to switch to another brand??

If you are looking for a better GPS experience then the Fitbit Ionic might be the device for you. It has built in GPS so doesn't need to maintain a connection with your phone, in fact you could leave your phone at home.
