Versa eating up phone memory

Since I got my Versa watch a few weeks ago, my phone keeps running out of memory. Does anyone know how to stop this problem? I'm not getting multimedia text messages, for example, unless I delete a bunch of photis, uninstall apps, clear my cache, etc..

 

I stopped getting sleep details and I think that may be because of memory issues. I turned off everything on my watch except basic fitness info and sleep info. I'm not using it for music, texts, or phone calls. 

 

I have an older phone (Samsung S5). I can't afford to replace it, but I'm thinking of returning my watch unless there's a solution.

Have you tried contacting Fitbit directly by phone? They offer tech support that’s phenomenal at resolving seemingly unsolvable issues. They’ve helped me tremendously a couple of times.
