This is the second one that's been doing this. (I got a replacement from Fitbit because the first one was borked.) Even though I have the auto-wake turned off, it just randomly lights up whenever it feels like it. Sometimes for just a split second, sometimes 1-2 seconds, sometimes several seconds. During the day, I couldn't care less, but at night, I want it OFF and to stay OFF. Even the default clock face is very bright in a dark bedroom. Especially if I've just put my hands near my face and BOOM it lights up right in my eyeballs.
Any idea how to fix this? The auto-wake off/on isn't even showing in the settings on the watch anymore for some strange reason.
Best AnswerLooks like this post has gone quiet. I'm having the same problem. I've also turned off the "all-day sync" option (through the Fitbit app on my phone), thinking that background syncing might be causing the Versa face to turn on spontaneously. No dice. Still happens randomly and often.
Anyone find a solution this?
Best AnswerI am having the same problem. It just started last night & it killed my battery which was at 100% at 11 am & dead by 6 pm! Help! Anyone out there that has a solution?
Best AnswerI am also having this issue. It doesn't matter if in auto mode or manual. I can be sitting at my desk with my hand resting, not moving at all and the screen comes on. My battery has been draining way more rapidly. This just started in the last week or so. I have updated firmware, restarted, turn auto and manual options on and off and no luck. I chatted with support but they're not really addressing the issue and want me to troubleshoot a battery drain by letting the battery die and recharging fully and then message them back the dates it died and the date it was fully charged so they can look and see how fast it's draining, but pretty sure I KNOW why it's draining already .... so pretty pointless.
Best AnswerFor what it's worth, my Versa has been behaving. Everything is set to manual, and I'm getting about 6 days/charge. The one thing I did since my last post was to try syncing when the watch face came on. (My assumption was that the lit watch face might have been an indicator that it was trying to sync with my phone, even though it was set to manual.) However, I haven't had to do that for weeks now--maybe the latest firmware update helped?
