Versa floors tracking and screen swiping issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had my Versa for quite a while with no trouble; but, in the last week or so, it has stopped tracking floors and I can't swipe the face of the Versa to move to other "pages".  I have tried restarting it with the left and lower right buttons, but to no avail.  Does anyone have any thoughts or solutions they have found for the same problems?  Thanks.

Hi @ChrisBarb787, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it stopped tracking floors and the screen won't swipe. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try a factory reset in order to fix these issues. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. After this, set up your watch from scratch

Finally, monitor your Versa for the next 24 hours and see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
