Versa gets disconnected from phone constantly

I have had issues in the past with my Versa and Moto Z Play disconnecting.  At first, it seemed to only be an issue after updates on either the Versa or the phone.  Then it started randomly happening.  Now, it has been three times in the past week!!! 

The only way to correct the issue is to reset the Versa, then uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. Then, I need to re-do all my permissions and notification options. At this point, the routine is getting old. The two devices are never far apart and I rarely let the battery die on either device.  

Anyone have any ideas as to why this is such a problem???  I'm so annoyed!

@WCBailey, thank you for participating in our Fitbit forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is disconnecting from your Moto Z Play constantly. I appreciate the time spent trying the workarounds you mentioned previously.

 

I'm afraid that the Moto Z Play is no in the Supported devices list. This may be the reason why your Versa is not connecting with your phone properly.

 

I would like you to submit a compatibility request in our Feature Suggestions board and people can vote for it. The more votes your request gets, the more chances it will have to be reviewed by our engineers.
