Hello,
I've been using FItbit Versa for the past 13 months and after taking a shower yesterday I noticed that it started acting weirdly. My Fitbit started vibrating without a reason and soon the screen went blank. I tried to read few tips on what to do, tried to restart but no luck. I felt that the battery started getting warm so I decided to leave it until the morning. It was showing red color at the back.
In the morning I looked at my Fitbit and noticed water drops inside of the sensors, I have no idea how did the water get inside as there is no visible damage or hole! The watch seems to be sealed so the water is no evaporating and I have no hope it will get better.
Since warranty ended a month ago I really don't know what to do. Already thinking of an Apple Watch as I am really disappointing in Fitbit... Anyone else had the same issue?
Thanks in advance!
Ana from Singapore

@AnastasiaO welcome to our Fitbit Community! I appreciate the time spent trying a restart in order to fix the display and charging issues that your Versa is experiencing. Since you noticed that the battery started to get hot, let me go ahead and forward your case to our Support team so they can review it and assist you accordingly.
You will receive an email from them soon.
I'd just like to share this page which has more info about the warranty policies.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Hello @JuanJoFitbit ,
Thank you for your message.
I did receive an email from the support team last night and I am truly disappointed as my challenge was not addressed. The person completely ignored the fact that despite Fitbit Versa being waterproof the water got in and that is the cause why it stopped working. My problem is not that the watch doesn't charge, it just stopped working because sensors are wet.
Can someone get back to me on this matter?
Thank you.

Did you ever get a solution for this? The same thing happened to mine today after a shower. It's 14 months old so it's beyond the warranty. Makes me wonder bc I was forced to do an update two days ago...
