Versa has a black screen and won't charge

My Fitbit won't charge and all it shows is the battery with a zero when I try to restart it. It was working yesterday.

Hi @Debo45, welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding the charging issues that your Fitbit Versa has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via phone and email. I'm glad to hear that a solution was provided and you are back on track with a replacement unit.

It's dying. Permanently. The new firmware updates are killing everyone's Versa's and they aren't doing anything about it. I have been a 10 year customer, they know it's the update causing this, and they only offered me a 25% discount on another piece of crap. No thanks. Time to check out Samsung or Garmin. 🙄

I'm also sorry to hear that your Versa is no longer under warranty. The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of the first setup.
