Versa has a black screen but green light is on

My screen stays black on my Fitbit Versa. But I know its open as green light at the back is on, my alarm went off on its usual time and it vibrates when i have notification. 

I tried everything that has been mentioned in all forums: reset, reboot, restart, now I read to remove the device and place it back. I did but **ahem** it asks for the 4-digit showing on the fitbit and the screen is all black - helpppp please😭
