I have been using my Versa for the last 18 months and it has been working great, no problems at all. But since the last firmware upgrade it has just given useless information to me. It tells me that my pulse rate is at 170 and that I have burned 2000 calories when I get up in the morning. It is way off the mark. I can ist in an office all day and it tells me I am burning upwards of 8000 calories just sitting at a computer. It is currently noting more useful than an expensive digital watch. Can I roll back to a previous firmware version or can someone tell me if there will be a new firmware update soon. I have looked at various forums and can see that I'm not the only person having this problem. Do I assume that ALL versas can now be considered as useless. Is anyone able to help me with this.??

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @SunsetRunner.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Fitbit Versa is not tracking your data accurately since the last firmware update. While it's not possible to roll back to a previous firmware version, I totally understand how you are feeling and appreciate your efforts to resolve this. Upon checking with our Support team, I was told that you have already contacted them and that they were able to assist you. Thank you for your time and efforts.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Wow! Liliya, is that really what they told you?? No they were not able to assist me, far from it.
What they told me is that they are aware of the problem caused by the firmware upgrade, however they are not aware of any fix that is available to resolve it. Nor did they know if one will be made available. They were not prepared to offer me a replacement or an upgrade or refund me for the purchase.
It is a disgraceful way to treat customers. I have used my Versa without any problems up until the last firmware upgrade which has reduced it to nothing more than a digital watch.
How can a responsible organisation treat its customers with such contempt.
I was basically told Yes we know about the problem, but we're not going to do anything about it Tough!!
I hope they have not closed down this call. I have paid a lot of money for their product and they have rendered it useless. I would welcome your advice??

Oh, and to add insult to injury Fitbit send me a weekly progress report telling me how well i'm doing burning nearly 8,000 calories a day. This is becoming a farce!!!

I'm having a similar issue since the update. My step counter has become waaaaay too sensitive - any wrist movement and steps are counted. I drive for work and my fitbit is constantly logging steps while I drive, adding thousands of steps to my daily count! I haven't seen issues with calorie count or heart rate monitor yet, but I'll comment if that changes.

Ariel I don't hold out much hope for a fix. I've been on quite a few forums and there seems to be an awful lot of people affected. No comments at all from Fitbit other than an acknowledgement. I suspect that they hope any Versa users will just upgrade to a newer model that is not affected. Something that I am not prepared to do as I have no confidence that the same thing will not happen again. I suspect Garmin etc will be rubbing their hands at the prospect of people moving over to their products. Let me know if you manage to get it sorted. Good Luck.
