I'd like to confirm that you've tried restarting your watch as described here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

1 vertical left side on face screen I have tried and change the clock faces several times I have turn off and on the Fitbit and it still has the one vertical lines on the left-hand side
