My Versa, firmware 32.71.6.19 is appearing to show red edges on the left and right of my screen. Is there anything I can do? I have had it since July 18 2019.

Hi @SunsetRunner. Welcome! It's nice to have you on board.
Thanks for explaining the issues experienced with your Versa screen and for keeping it updated. I understand how you're feeling about this situation and let's work on this together. Just to confirm, are those red edges showing up on the clock face or on any screen on your Versa? Because your post didn't mention, I'd recommend to perform a restart to refresh its performance. Let me know how it goes so I can continue helping you.
I'll look forward to your comments.

Hello,
just curious. Are your versa about or more than 2 years old ?
Another question what is the current firmware of your versa ? Mine is version 32.71.6.19 .
I am wondering if it is a bug in newest firmware or the hardware wearing out.

Hi. I bought mine in July 2019 so it is only 15 months old. Frankly I expected it to last longer. I'm running version 38.71.6.19

The support team did contact me. They have offered a discount on the purchase of a new Fitbit device but no solution to the current problem. I am undecided as to whether or not to buy another Fitbit even with a discount. This one only lasted 15 months, only 3 months out of warranty. I am frankly disappointed with the short lifespan.

I am wondering if anyone who has experienced this issue of red edges on the display has had their unit die on them? It's annoying to have the display messed up but I just keep waiting for it to completely give out. Has anyone had theirs die after showing the dreaded red edges?

I have the same issue, I was calling it a yellow/orange because as it gets bigger, it is more yellow. Mine as been like it about 3 weeks now. It is getting bigger or the screen is getting smaller, it is annoying. I am expecting it to completely disappear eventually. I tried the long reboot and it did not help. I am debating whether I’ll get another Fitbit or go to Apple. This is my third fitbit. My first lasted just under 2 years, I had bought it at Costco so they refunded my money. Upgraded and got a second Fitbit, that one lasted just over 2 years. My third one is this versa and it is about 22 months old. Only one year warranty and was not bought anywhere that will refund. My daughter is also having issues with her Versa so and hers is just over a year old so we may both be switching to the Apple Watch.

Howdy!
Same issue here with the screen deterioration and today I've come across a new issue of it not holding charge - but there's a few people with the same issue so I feel it has nothing to do with the screen element.
I know for a fact I will not be buying another fitbit product as the company, in my opinion, doesn't support its customers and you have to relieve on buying extra warranty to cover yourself.
If you're buying something as expensive as these are, you'd expect them to last longer than 15 months, just saying!
Just gonna stick with my trusty vintage Casio. It's at least 15 years old and still going strong!

I'm having the same issue too - I think its been since the latest update. Tried shutting down and doing a reset but still there. On all screens and other clock faces.
