Versa has stopped tracking heart rate

Recently my Versa has stopped tracking my heart rate. I have followed advice on other topics, turned heart rate function off on the Versa, then turned off and restarted it, then turned heart monitor back on again. Thus will work for a couple of minutes, but then it stops again. Or at times will not record heart rate at all.

I have tightened the strap to ensure a close contact with my skin and the Versa has not been damaged.

It seems this problem is widespread, is there a fix to this problem, or di we need to look for a different make of watch to be able to continue to record our heart rates?

Thanks

I’m having this issue too, seems to have coincided with the latest update. Mine also stopped tracking my sleep.

I’ve been having the same issue for a week and a half now. The versa I have now is actually a replacement that Fitbit sent me after I had the same issue with my original one. Both times the issue arose shortly after a year of having the watch.

My battery life has also dropped from 3-4 days, to 1 day.

This will definitely be my last Fitbit as I’ve gone through 4 in the last 6 years or so, all because of faulty issues like this. It’s such a shame because I do love the functionality.

Edit: It appears as though the “activation date” on my replacement device was back-dated to match my original versa so it was never under a warranty to begin with. Fitbit is shady as hell.
