after a run the display on watch was flipping continuously to different screens.  The time was off and would catch up.  I turned the watch off and it continued to do this.  Put it on the charger, the screen went black and now won't work at all.

Hi @AnnMC1, it sounds like some of the condensation you mentioned in the title of the posting may have gotten into the watch somehow.  Have you tried drying it out with white rice?  My sister did that with her phone after dropping it in the lake one day and it worked wonders after we put it in white rice!

I've had it in rice since yesterday morning, no change

@AnnMC1 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! In addition to the rice workaround that shared my friend @DramaQueenDiva, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, check out if the display of your Versa comes back to life.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

The rice and restart did not work.  Called fit-bit support and they are sending me a shipping label to return my versa.  Do you know, if they send that email or USPS?

Thanks for responding to my issue.

I have the exact same problem I contacted Fitbit and they said they wouldn’t replace it. So disappointed. Before when I had a problem they sent me a new tracker but not this time.

Hi there! I am experiencing a very similar problem with my Fitbit Versa. It was charged over halfway and all of a sudden was just a black screen. I tried to charge it with 2 different chargers, and both of them work. I have also tried to restart it a few times using all of the methods but the screen remains black. I have noticed that when I charge it condensation appears on the back under the sensors. What else do I need to do?

I'm seriously thinking of going with apple watch just because the problem with the water resistance. Note that i never wear it in the shower or spa only in the pool and in a river

They did not replace it. I started just buying mine off eBay where they
have a two year warranty.

I talk to the support team and they are sending me a new one by mail and since they don't have any fitbit versa 1 anymore they are sending me an versa 2 instead so I'm glad i talk to them

Just to follow up - my options from Fitbit support are to use a 25% off coupon to buy another $$$$$ Fitbit product, or nothing. I can’t believe with how expensive they are there is zero expectation it will last more than a year! I’m going to a competitor 😞
