Peeformed the firmware update this morning and now the heart monitor is no longer working.  Yes it is ON in the Versa.  Performed reboots, followed the steps listed in forums, blah blah blah, but nothing has helped.  Also, battery starting to go faster than usual.  Is my Versa getting to end of the line??

Yes . I went through 2 Versas. The first one started to fail only after 3
months. They sent me a replacement that lasted about 1 year and 3 months
or so. I just downgraded to a Charge 3. I ever invest on a smart watch, I
will.have to go for the big leagues. I really so not need one but when I
bought the Versa, I was treating myself, since I have had a terrible year
at the time...FYI be careful with their sales. They gave me a coupon 40%
coupon, so I decided to get the charge 3 for $97. When I went to their
website to learn more (after I had order it), they were selling it for $99
and with free overnight shipping! So at the end I got conned!

Yeah....not sure what to do. Track record isn't so hot.

I noticed Fitbit has released a new and more expensive tracker. Buyer beware! The company philosophy is to keep throwing new shiny things into the market and leaving those of us who have their piece of junk that doesnt work or breaks when we update with the companies firmware. By a Wyze tracker for less than 30.00 and get a tracker that actually works.

So I found that last Thursday  my heart rate was not registering. I contacted support and they had me clean my Fitbit and restart and it worked again. However my battery drains within a day, and now again my heart rate is not registering. I even tried to turn off the heart rate, restart, and turn it back on. It is still not working.

I solved it! Hold down the button on the left until it restarts 3 times.  Doing this resolved my heartbeat sensor issue.  You have to hold the button for like 2 minutes. Keep holding it between restarts.  Then after the final 3rd restart attempt it worked!  Repost this solution to all heart beat sensor issues. I tried all previous recommended solutions.  But then I tried holding the button while it restarted 3-4 times and then it worked!

Hi. Thanks for the update. My Versa unexpectedly died no too long after
that. I got a crummy discount for a Charge 3, which in my opinion is much
more durable.
