For 2+ weeks now my Versa has been saying I have a heart rate of 150+ all day long, but resting HR of 77 (as I type this it says I have a HR of 174). It also is saying I have 5+hours of fat burn, 3+ hours of cardio. I am working from home and sitting all day; NO way. It also says I am burning 3,000+ calories each day with 500+ active minutes. There are other feeds of this issue dating back to 2018. When I called Fitbit support today, they said it was an "internal issue" and that they are working on it... for 2 years?!?! I'm moving on to an Apple Watch unless anyone else has any advice on how to fix this.

Hi @LaurenIke, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.
I'm sorry to hear about the high amount of heart rate and active minutes readings that your Versa tracked. I totally understand how you feel about this.
Our team is actively working on a fix to this issue and expect to have it resolved soon. Once a solution is available, we'll make sure to post it on the Community.
We really appreciate your patience and feedback since this helps us to keep improving.
I'll be around if any question arises.

I encountered this error when I tried to switch my daily goal from steps to active minutes. However, my watch constantly put me as in a working-out zone. I tried every reset and hard rest solution I could find to resolve, but nothing fixed it. I am assuming this is one in the same issue. I finally just went back to the daily step goal, but it defeats the purpose of me wanting active minutes as my daily goal.

Two weeks? And they said they’ve been working on it for 2 years?! This just started happening to me over the weekend. My heart rate is like 150+ for hours even when I’m sleeping. It worked right for a little bit today and then just started doing the accelerated bpm again shortly after my morning run. I contacted Fitbit as soon as it happened and they’re supposed to email me back soon, but I still haven’t heard anything. I loved Fitbit - have been using it for like 5 years now, but this issue is driving me nuts. They should just send us new Fitbit’s that don’t have this issue immediately.
