Hi! Have restarted my Versa several times, set up new device and the works after reading through old posts... the heart rate is still frozen on a 125!
what should I try next?

@Devikak, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

Regarding the heart rate issue that your Fitbit Versa is experiencing, I appreciate the time spent trying a restart before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try one more workaround that has been helpful for this type of issues. Try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Please sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. After this, set up your watch from scratch.

Finally, tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist and monitor your watch in order to see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Same issue. Device is a couple of years old.  Heart rate goes to about 165 and continues to show this heart rate.  It may change between 155 and 165 but it is obviously not working correctly.  In attempt to self-repair this,  I have:

1). Turned off the heart rate and restarted it - still moves to 165 and holds it between 155 and 165

2). Turned off the Phone App and still the same problem

3). Turned off the Versa and restarted it - same problem

4). Completed all of the suggested resets prior to Factory Reset - same problem

5). Finally, hesitantly, I chose Factory Reset, as suggested in this post - still came up with the same issue.

There is obviously something wrong with the device.  I did like the Versa but am terribly disappointed with the obvious lack of solutions except the restarting.  So here is my thinking:

I'm  moving to another device and I want to download all of my data and then have it deleted so it is not available to anyone else.  How can I do this?

Hi! Thanks for your response! I did do the factory reset but now it won’t switch on!
went through similar threads and tried pressing down the two buttons and then even all three for a good minute or more. Still no response... I think my watch has crossed over the bridge 🙈

any thing else that could help? My watch is over a year old and hence out of warranty...

This is happening to me almost daily!  The only thing that works is to reset my watch. It’s frustrating because I don’t often realize it has happened until I’ve started a workout!  So it will stay at 83 through a while spin class!  Ugh I think I may need to return it and switch to Apple Watch?  Thoughts?
