Versa heart rate information inaccurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I know this has been touched on many times but I'm a cyclist and I were my Versa and a Wahoo Tickr chest strap during rides . The Wahoo (which is very proven hr monitor) regularly shows 30-50bpm higher then my Versa during rides . I know wrist monitor will never be as accurate but this seems way off.  Is that the common experience of most people?

I also have doubts about sleep tracking and step counting compared to other apps and devices.  So far after several months the only feature of my Versa that I trust is the silent alarm.   This is an expensive alarm clock but I really need something that could wake me as a somewhat heavy sleeper without waking my wife and this is the first solution I've tried that works so I guess that's worth $200 to me and my wife but I wish I could be more confident in the rest of the data.

It's great to see you around @ryanms3030.

If you are having issues with your heart rate information, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it. Now about the sleep, check the help article What should I know about sleep stages?.

Keep me posted. Woman Happy

Dear Alejandra

It will be honest from your side that admit that Fitbit Versa have a huge problem with HR accuracy.

You at Fitbit are aware of this inaccurate HR from the beginning and you should stop Versa sales and stop cheating you loyal Fitbit fans.

I notice this issue from beginning, I even bought second versa thinking the the first one had some hardware problem.

Yesterday you official Twitter account @FFitbtSupport admit existence of this issue and no hope that will be resolve soon or ever.

So please stop playing with us.Screenshot_20181018-210933_Twitter.jpg

The heart rate link is specifically about the Blaze so not sure if it apples to apples with the Versa but the link does pretty much say HR sensor will not be accurate during intense physically activity.
