Versa heart rate is spiking even when resting.

My Versa monitor is not reading my heart rate accurately at all, when resting it is around 165 bpm and when I workout it doesn’t read the heartbeat. I have noticed this issue after I had a swim three days ago and one day after the issue started.

I don’t know if it is a hardware issue, but would appreciate any help. My calories burned for the last two days have reach 5000 and 4000 calories and my normal average is 2300.

Hi, this is a know issue that the HR can sometimes show weird behaviour, Usually this can be solved by restarting your Versa 4-6 times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit Logo and release the buttons. Always works for me.

@R_ob It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with the inaccurate heart rate readings that your Versa is providing.

I'd just like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved after restarting your Versa as described @SunsetRunner. In addition, please make sure that your Versa is not being worn too tight.

Looking forward to your response! 😀
