My heart rate lights don’t work. I’ve removed Versa from app, removed app from phone, reset versa and restored the watch to factory settings. I’ve cleaned the back of watch, cleaned my arm and lights still don’t flash. Also doesn’t receive calls or notifications.

Same issue here , had one device replaced around 18 months ago then this one literally just went dead for a week then restarted today but with no laser to measure heart rate
Pretty crap really

Same thing happened to me. Green light stopped working, no bpm, and battery quickly draining. Called Customer Service, went through factory reset and it didn’t fix it. Out of warranty and out of luck. Offered me 25 percent off a new Fitbit. Sorry. Will not be buying another Fitbit product. Ever.
Very disappointing. Out of warranty so out of luck. Green light not working, no bpm, and battery life now suffering. Waste of money. Called Customer Service and was told “it’s an electronic device so these things are to be expected.” Offered me a 25 percent discount on another device. Um ... no thank you. No more Fitbits for me. Ever.

Anyone else think this is similiar to the apple tactic? Issue an update and now your unit doesn't work, which forces you to have to upgrade. And it's all because of the one feature most people like. The HR!

My Versa watch stopped working properly 5 days ago after a 3.5 hour hike. First, the sleep tracker stopped tracking, then heart rate, followed by the watch battery dying quickly. All of these were not issues until recently.
I followed all instructions on cleaning, charging, rebooting watch, removing and re-adding watch to my phone. The sensor still does not work and my watch battery dropped from 100% to 91% in less than 10 minutes.

Sorry to hear that. We all faced the same issues. Unfortunately your watch is now useless. Me personally I switched to iWatch and I have nothing to say.

My heart rate lights are not working either. My sleep hasn’t been tracked in almost a week because of this issue. Tired all the troubleshooting suggestions, none worked. Even messages Fit Bit on Twitter and was just sent more troubleshooting FAQ’s. Help!!

Mine is doing the same thing after cleaning factory reset still no light. I got it last dec
Let me know. I will never buy another product from them. Mine crapped out
after I did update. I reset it several times with no luck. They want to
offer 25% off new product.
I'm going to try to reset mine again but like you not spending 200 on
another fitbit product. I also see Samsung or Garmin In my future.

Having similar issues with my Versa 2, it seems to me the latest firmware update wasn't tested and there's some bugs, mostly related to HR tracking. The lack of acknowledgment is what pisses me off the most, own up to it and provide a timeline, don't leave people hanging.

Don't bother, factory reset does nothing, I did it like 5 times and no luck. I'll probably get a Garmin too. Fitbit is dead to me.

Hi, this is happening to me as well, I’ve cleaned everything, charged it fully, done a factory reset, turned the HR monitor on and off and it still just says - - where the heartrate should be. Any suggestions on what I can do?
Thanks Kasey

Best answer is to send it back to Fitbit, there doesn't seem to be a fix once the HR sensor and light finally goes out. I bought a 2nd hand one which unfortunately broke just after a few weeks, so I'll be looking for a new replacement.
